Quote of the Week

Here is my weekly quote of the week…

“Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and then suddenly you are doing the impossible!”

I’m glad it’s almost summer. Even though I really like fall, I’ll be glad for the chance to go swimming and go on hikes. This is a picture of my favorite flower- The Forget-me-not.

Happy May Day!

Happy May Day! Hope you all are having great day! 🙂

Another Great Quote!

So this week I had two quotes I wanted to put up as my quote of the week. I couldn’t decided so I thought I would put both on my blog. Hope you guys like this one too.

“Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your actions, for they become habits. Watch your habits, for they become your character. Watch your character, for it becomes your Destiny.”

-Lao Tzu

Quote of the Week

Here is my quote of the week. I really like it. This quote made me realize that I often take my friends for granted. What amazing friends I have!

Good Friends are like stars. You don’t always see them, but you know they’re always there.”

-Unknown

The Round Table

Wondering why I named my blog “The Round Table”? King Arthur created the Knights of the Round Table. The idea was to make everybody equal. No one was at the head of the table, they were all of the same importance.

Thank You Service Men and Women

This is my great-grandfather while he was in the Navy around 1948. I would like to say thank you all of  the men and women who protect our country and have given their lives in the line of duty.

A Great Quote

“You are one of a kind and you have something great to offer.” -Unknown

This is a great quote for the week reminding us that we don’t have to be famous or rich to make a difference. We all have value and can make the world a better and more positive place in our own way.

My First Blog Post

Hello, welcome to my blog. This is my first post on my own blog and I’m so excited. I figured I would tell you a little about myself. Here’s my list of things about me. Hope you all enjoy my blog.

  1. My favorite song is Amazing Grace, originally written by John Newton but I love when Chris Tomlin sings it. I also enjoy music by the bands Daughtry, Train, and The News Boys. I also like Taylor Swift and Hunter Hayes. I especially like the genres of Country and Pop.
  2. My favorite season is fall, because I think it is the most beautiful time of year.
  3. As many of my close friends know, I am an animal person. I don’t have a favorite animal but I do like Owls.
  4. I also like to read. For all you out there that like to read, if you haven’t already read it, I would suggest looking into some of these series.
    1. The Percy Jackson Series also know as the Percy Jackson and Olympians Series.
    2. The Hero’s of Olympus Series (this is the second series after the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series from the author Rick Riordan.) Is also really good. Both series are based on Greek and Roman Mythology with adventure, a little bit of mystery and romance. If you are looking for a book that will keep you up all night and reading like crazy this is definitely something you might enjoy.
    3. A similar series is the Pegasus Series. This is a lot like the Percy Jackson series with mythology. I would suggest this to anyone. The author is Kate O’Hearn.
    4. If you are really into fantasy you may enjoy a series called Half-Upon a Time. I enjoyed this, however, was a fairy tale based story…but still really good.
    5. I also really enjoyed the Hunger Games trilogy. I have a lot more but that is all I will list for right now.

Just as a side note, my nickname on this blog is Kkat. Just in case anyone was wondering.

Thanks for reading. Goodbye for now!
